Just Right

Fact: When God made you, He did not make a mistake!  He formed each of us perfectly for the life He intended for us, no matter what we or anyone else says or thinks.  When we put credence in the idea that we are somehow defective, we set ourselves up for problems.

Stop believing that you are less, incapable, weak, off, wrong or can’t make it, etc. That is a lie from the devil. (excerpt from Feed The Seed & Meet The Need pt.1, by Dr. Chester C. Pipkin)

The devil works a slick trick when he can get us believing that lie.  When we think we can’t succeed, we accept defeat before the fight ever begins.  How can we win if we start out convinced that something is wrong with us and victory is impossible?  But God gave us the truth so that we would have the ammunition we need to reject the devil’s deception.  The scriptures reveal that God made us carefully, and His workmanship is not haphazard or inadequate.

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. (Psalm 139:14-15 NLT)

This means that we are made with nothing lacking when it comes to our ability to live the life God has called us to.  Without exception, every one of us can make it, we are capable, and no one is less or defective.  So don’t allow the devil to get over on you by convincing you of his lies.  Instead, hold onto the truth: God made you just right!
